What is Loupe Copilot?
Loupe Copilot is a chat assistant built into your Loupe Factory dashboard. Instead of opening report after report, you simply type a question the way you would ask a colleague, and Copilot answers using the live information already in your account: sales, customers, inventory, production, shipments, and invoices.
It is designed for everyone on the team, not just the technical few. There is nothing to set up and nothing to learn. If you can ask a question, you can use Loupe Copilot.
What you can ask
Copilot understands everyday questions about your business. Here are a few examples teams ask every day:
- What are my top customers by sales this year?
- Which orders are ready to ship?
- Do we have this item in stock, and where?
- Which production jobs are running late?
- Which orders have shipped but not yet been delivered?

You can also ask in your own words. Copilot is good at understanding what you mean, even when you describe something loosely. Ask it to "find orders where the customer asked for blue stones" and it reads the notes on your orders the way your team would, not just matching exact words.
Live answers, even from the web
Some questions need up-to-date information from outside your business. When it helps, Loupe Copilot can look things up on the web and combine that with your own numbers. Ask for today's gold price compared against your current inventory value, or a currency rate applied to your open orders, and you get one clear answer with links to the sources it used.

Your data stays private and secure
Trust matters, so Loupe Copilot is built with clear rules about your information:
- Only your business's data. Copilot answers using the information in your own account and nothing from anyone else's.
- Your data is never used to train AI. Your business information is used only to answer your questions. It is not used to train or improve any AI model.
- Respects each person's role. Copilot only shows what a person is already allowed to see in Loupe Factory, so sensitive details stay with the right people.
- Read-only by design. Copilot can look up and explain your information, but it never changes, deletes, or moves anything in your account.
- Sensitive details stay hidden. Private fields are kept out of answers, so the right information is shared without exposing what should stay confidential.
How billing works
Loupe Copilot runs on AI credits, the same simple, pay-as-you-go credits used across Loupe Factory's other AI features. The idea is straightforward:
- Each answer uses a small number of AI credits. You only pay for what you actually use.
- Your plan includes a credit allowance. Every subscription comes with a monthly pool of AI credits to get you started.
- Top up when you need more. If your team uses Copilot heavily, you can add more credits anytime, so heavier months cost a little more and quiet months cost less.
- No surprises. Browsing your dashboard, opening reports, and everyday work in Loupe Factory do not use AI credits. Credits apply only when you ask Copilot a question.
💡 Tip: Because credits are pay-as-you-go, Loupe Copilot scales with your business. Ask freely when you need answers, and you are never paying for capacity you did not use.

- Open your Loupe Factory Home dashboard.
- Type a question in the ask box, or tap one of the suggested starter questions.
- Read the answer, open any linked records for detail, and ask a follow-up to go deeper.
